Hi, I am Tora Henry, a Licensed Counselor, with over 15 years of experience. I have a passion for helping people.

Whether it's individuals, couples, families, or organizations, I desire to support and guide whoever is ready to start their journey.

 

Through working with Federal and State Agencies and in private practices, I've developed various tools and therapy services for a diverse range of clients. Working with such diversity has also given me the experience and temperament one needs when mediating and negotiating conflict resolutions. 

 

As a former U.S. Marine, I understand resiliency and perseverance. It is truly inspirational when people find themselves and overcome life’s difficulties and challenges. Their trust and vulnerability are something I do not take lightly. 

 

It is through connecting to their emotional experiences that I also stay rooted in my own sense of awareness and self. Counselors can only effectively work if they are also capable of navigating through life’s challenges with an open mind. It is my opinion that the only way to genuinely be effective in guiding clients toward positive choices and personal growth is to have a therapist who has also worked on their own personal growth.
